Check in and Check out Buffalo, Midmod, and The Parsonage

 

• Check-in anytime after 4:00pm:  We have a coded lock. You will be given the code after booking via your emailed Guest Link. If checking in later than 10pm, please be respectful of other guests in the other apartment, keeping noise minimal. ( If booking Schlyer or Rupp)

• Check-out: 11am

Pets

• We do allow pets at Midmod and Buffalo Haus

• We have a $30 pet fee, per pet, per night.

• You must follow all rules below:

  • No pets on any furniture for any reason​

  • Any accidents must be reported to us and cleaned up promptly

  • Excrement in the yard must be cleaned up before check out. Bags are provided.

  • If your pet causes damage or extra cleaning, you may be subjected to additional fees.

 

Rental Policies

 

• Guests DO NOT have access to the entire house at Buffalo Haus unless you booked the entire house. The Schlyer Place apartment consists of the first floor of the house and the wrap around porch. Also a labeled off street parking pad. Rupp Loft consists of the entire Second Floor and the backyard. Also a labeled off street Parking Pad.

• Weapons and firearms not allowed.

• Four guests limit in Rupp Loft. Schlyer Place has a 6 guest limit. The entire house sleeps 10.  Midmod guest limit is 6.

• Please be aware both apartments have antiques (Buffalo Haus). This may not be suitable for children. Any damage is the responsibility of the guest that booked.

• Events and gatherings and  parties welcome with owner/host approval. Large events may be subject to extra fees.

• Accessibility: Schlyer Place is located on the first floor. Rupp loft is located on the second floor. We do not have an elevator. Midmod is all one level and has no stairs. The Parsonage has a first floor bedroom and bathroom but does have stairs to the second floor.

• NO SMOKING in the house or apartments at any time for any reason! Smoking in the house or suite will result in a $250 fine.

• No candles, no incense or other items that burn or have a strong smell may be used in the apartments.

• We are privately owned and operated. We will not be responsible for guest accidents or injury, or for the loss of money, jewelry, or valuables of any kind. 

• Any damages, stolen items, or broken items occurring during the stay will be the full financial responsibility of the guest, including anyone traveling with the guest. Any special clean-up resulting in damages caused by the guests will be charged to the credit card. Charges may need to be applied after guest departure as deemed necessary by the owner.  

• Guests are asked to clean up after themselves in the kitchen. Guests are also asked to wash their dishes and cooking utensils. Midmod and The Parsonage we ask you load and start the dishwasher before leaving.

• We dry and put away all kitchen items. We take the trash out at all properties.

• Accidents Happen! Please report all spills and/or damages to the owners promptly to help us preserve this historic house.

 

Terms and Conditions

 

• Credit card required for room booking. We require full payment upfront if not booking through Airbnb. 

• Cancellations: If booking direct through our website and not Airbnb, you must cancel 48 hours ahead of time for a 50% refund. You must cancel 7 days prior for a full refund. No shows will be charged the full amount.

Privacy Policy

We consider the privacy of our guests a serious responsibility.  This  policy  declares how we will use and treat information we collect from  and about you. This policy is an agreement that is legally binding. By  using our website, you consent to the collection and use of information  by   us as specified below.

 

We commit with all sincerity to:

 

• never sell your information;       

• never use your information to market our lodging to you  for future stays without requiring your "opt in" and permitting your  "opt out."  To date, we have never performed such marketing;       

• only collect the minimum of information as is customarily necessary to provide lodging;             

• only share information about you when (a) required by law  or (b) required by situations that demand immediate action that are to  your clear benefit (i.e., "emergencies"). 

 

               

Please be aware: 

 

• that you may book our lodging without using this website and  if you do so you are only protected by the privacy policies of those  companies providing the booking service;

• that the  online booking accessible on our website is provided  by Smoobu and we do not control the privacy policy of  Smoobu

• that changes to this policy will only be posted here on this  privacy-policy webpage (we do not wish to invade your privacy by sending  you emails about changes to the policy).
